San Felipe Del Rio CISD scores 79/100 in the Texas Education Agency’s (TEA) 2025 Accountability Ratings.
The TEA released its annual Accountability Ratings on Friday. The ratings score public school systems and campuses across Texas with an A through F rating. SFDRCISD scored a high C rating, which the TEA considers “acceptable performance”. Of the District’s 14 campuses, two received an A rating — Early College H.S. and R.B.B. Elementary — while one received a D-rating — Chavira Elementary. No campus was rated F.
SFDRCISD is Del Rio’s primary K-12 school system with nearly 10,000 students enrolled.
Area schools also rated by the TEA include Heritage Academy and Premier High School, which scored A and B, respectively. The TEA used “alternative standards” to rate the two non-district public schools. 191 students are enrolled at Heritage, while 60 are enrolled at Premier.
