Fire personnel responded to a structure fire at Ave. G and East 2nd Street Friday night at approximately 7:20 PM, successfully containing it. No injuries were reported in connection with the incident. The now-uninhabitable structure, a vacant home, is likely slated to be bulldozed to clear the area of safety risks.
