Del Rio lined up yesterday in excitement for the NEW Nintendo Switch 2. The Nintendo Switch 2 is Nintendo's newest hybrid video game console, offering enhanced performance with a larger 1080p screen, 4K TV output, and new Joy-Con 2 controllers, while maintaining backward compatibility with original Switch games.

This past Friday, March 29th, the City of Del Rio and the San Felipe Exes came together for a historic celebration marking the premiere of "The Long Game." This highly-anticipated film is based on Humberto G. Garcia's acclaimed book "Mustang Miracle," which talks about the inspiring true story of San Felipe High School's golf team and their journey to the Texas State High School Golf Championship.

Del Rio, TX - On March 28, 2024, at 4:30 PM, Mayor Al Arreola, San Felipe Exes President Alonzo Martinez, and Members of the San Felipe Exes came together to celebrate the 1957 San Felipe High School Golf Team and their achievements. Arreola proclaimed March 29 as "Mustang Miracle Day" in honor of the team's remarkable achievements that are depicted in the upcoming movie screening of "The Long Game." The movie is set to screen at Cinemark at 12:00 PM and 2:30 PM which will introduced by the cast and crew all on Mustang Miracle Day.

This past Saturday, March 23, 2024, Del Rio was filled with things to do. Multiple events happening throughout the community; events such as BFCU's 11th Annual Golf Tournament for scholarships all the way to downtown with Del Rio's annual Chinese New Year celebration.
