F.O.B. Del Rio Builds Housing for Struggling Veterans

"To help veterans re-establish their lives for themselves, their families, and their communities" is the mission of F.O.B. (Finding Our Brothers and Sisters) Del Rio. To provide a home for those who have fought and sacrificed for our country, F.O.B. Del Rio is establishing tiny homes for veterans in need.

In the face of literal, or risk of, homelessness, F.O.B. Del Rio is here to give veterans their well-deserved second chance. Ran by veterans for veterans, those involved with the organization have seen the struggles and pain first hand, and with many at risk of losing their home, or having already lost a place to call home, they see it as unjust to stand by and do nothing while members of their community experience more pain.

Homes for those veterans in need are provided by F.O.B. Del Rio

That is why F.O.B. Del Rio is giving veterans another chance to live their lives. Starting by simply providing veterans a place to stay via hotels and other housing options completely out of their own pocket, F.O.B. Del Rio, now with funding from supporters and volunteers, can support these veterans like never before. With their Red, White, and Blue program, they seek to help those veterans in need get them back on their feet.

"We want to thank the community for drenching us with their support and their acceptance, their love and acceptance... The community has never hated on us. The City of Del Rio has done nothing but embrace us, and that is a beautiful thing," said Adrian Bitela, F.O.B. President.

F.O.B. Del Rio will have their grand opening for their new location of tiny homes on June 20, 2025, at 4 pm, 7162 W HWY 90, for all those who are interested in supporting veterans getting back on their feet, whether, you're a fellow veteran, currently in the military, family of a veteran, or just someone who wants to help out.
